A New Day is On the Horizon

If in the case you've been living under a rock the last 24 hours and haven't listen to the indescribable speech given by the legend known by over the world by Oprah, you've lost your mind. At the Golden Globes over the weekend, Oprah was honored with award and delivered nothing but hope, inspiration looking snatched by the way, I guess not eating bread really has its benefits.

Oprah's speech made major media attention and put her in a serious conversation about Oprah running for the 2020 election for President.

"Oprah is really everything that Trump pretends to be -- successful, self-made, generous, charitable, beloved and the list goes on," said Democratic strategist Jesse Ferguson.

And its no where near a lie. She has influenced every American in so way or another in her 25 years of being on television. The woman is a natural treasure. She has overcome so much in her life, she has given almost as much as she has made in the progress of her life.

The only thing that worries me about a saint-like monarch like Queen Q to run is that her whole life and work will have to go under the microscope for the world to analyze, judge and manipulate. It's crazy to me that you would want to look at her taxes for her school for African children. In the black community it's basically like asking for Grandma trash so people can look through it.

But then we have to also think how much the presidential run has changed. We have elected a person that has essentially broken all of the rules for what should determine a person's qualifications for the highest position in the land. I

know I'm the only person that thinking of Oprah as the leader of the free world wouldn't ever be a bad thought, unless, you've been living under a rock of course.

Could she step down as Queen though? Right now Oprah Winfrey has to be the most liked person on the Earth. She has attained a position in the world scope as a person along the lines of Mother Teresa. Home girl is the utterance of the American dream, and has a life defined by great tragedy and greater success. Would go and take the demotion to the President of the United States? She is literally Miss Universe, and has been for decades. #Oprah2020?
